We have been fortunate enough to visit family lately, amidst my busy schedule of volleyball. On Mark's birthday (September 11) we traveled to Joplin to see Mark's Uncle John and Aunt Nancy. We had a wonderful meal and had a great time catching up. All of the kids (Lacey, Lindsey, and KK) were able to come as well, so we had a mini Messick family reunion :)

Boyd wasn't so sure about that dog bed, but I think it was pretty comfortable!
We also got to travel to Farmington over Labor Day to see my parents. It was a quick trip, but it was so good to see my family and they enjoyed seeing little Boyd. We got to spend all night with Grandma and Grandpa Boyd, and they took good care of him. Grandpa loves hanging out with his little buddy!
I think Grandma liked spending time with him, also :)
We also went to John and Tracy's house so Jackson could see his baby cousin. They are 1 year and 10 days apart, and it's crazy to see how much different they look. Just wait a few years for Boyd to catch up and they will be probably look similar size.
We have been blessed with such an amazing family!!!!!
